The importance of retirement planning
It’s never too early to plan for retirement and we want to make sure you are on track.
Whether you are retiring next year or in the next 10 to 20 years, planning now is key to a successful retirement.
Everyone’s idea of retirement is different, however the necessity for careful planning to achieve that lifestyle is universal. Being mentally and financially prepared for retirement can make an enormous difference to your lifestyle post-employment.
Whatever your situation, we can help you start preparing for your life after work.
Join us for an informal evening with our guest presenter from Morgans Financial, Greg Thornton.

Farming with Figured
MBC.Ag has partnered with Figured to launch a new fully integrated farm business management package. The technology behind this offers complete livestock and crop budgeting, production tracking, and a forecasting tool that gives accurate data in one place, in real-time. The production planning and farm budgeting tools work seamlessly with online accounting software, Xero, enabling farmers to plan ahead with confidence and easily re-forecast when conditions change. Because it’s all online, the whole farming team, including your accountant and banker can collaborate using real-time financial information, wherever they are working.
MBC.Ag and Figured would like to invite you to come along and experience this fully integrated farm business management system in action.

Women Agri Business
MBC are hosting their third International Women’s Day event on Friday March 8, 2019.
This is a full day workshop focusing on the benefits to be gained from planning ahead and being clear on business objectives.
Our aim is to help women celebrate International Women’s Day by taking them away from the daily grind and bringing them together in the beautiful space at Eat Your Greens where they can network, relax, learn and share stories.
After an intense and difficult 2018, March 8th will focus on the future and how to be best prepared in business and on the farm. We will share stories of resilience and adaptability, provide tips on goal setting and tracking, and demonstrate the importance of community.
This is a full day event which will include a number of speakers, providing you with real experiences and useful tools to take away. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are provided. Topics include:
- goal setting and planning
- careful and informed decision making
- the importance of community
- getting the right working mix
- lifestyle and retirement planning
We plan to change the format a little so you can be sure it won’t be “just the same as last year”.
